This document is product of a consultant and support process to the Ma kankamaná ri Palenge
Communitarian Council. In this text I systematize and analyze the collected information
(testimonies) and recommendations that serve as source for the construction of a mutual
collaboration and benefit document; one of the objectives when formulating this project was to
consolidate forceful efforts and knowledge to the development of the Afrodescendent communities
on ethnoeducation issues and cultural or ethnotourism tourism in Cartagena city as well as in San
Basilio de Palenque town.
The information was taken from bibliographical revision, exploration of primary and secondary
sources and the accomplishment of interviews.
