Diagnóstico de la madurez de la gestión de proyectos en el sector la construcción en la ciudad de Cartagena

Abstract

Esta investigación contribuye a la evaluación de la gestión de proyectos en el sector de obras civiles y metalmecánicas en la ciudad de Cartagena, determinando el nivel de madurez organizacional por empresas y del sector, identificando fortalezas y debilidades que sirven como punto de partida para la mejora de este sector y así elevar el nivel de desempeño de los proyectos. Se afirma que una de las posibles razones del cierre constante de las empresas de obras civiles y metalúrgicas y una alta tasa de proyectos fallidos se debe al bajo nivel de madurez en la gestión de proyectos

This research contributes to the solution from the evaluation of project management in the sector of civil and metal-mechanical works in the city, by determining the level of maturity of the sector, identifying its strengths and weaknesses that serve to starting point for the subsequent improvement of the civil and metalworking sector in the management of their projects. It is stated that one of the possible reasons for the constant closure of civil works and metalworking companies and a high rate of failed projects is due to the low level of maturity in project management.
